Claude Design now ships directly to Vercel. Finish a design, pick Vercel from the Share menu, and get a live URL back — no export step, no Git push, no CLI.
The integration works through the Vercel MCP server. Once connected to your Vercel account, each deploy creates a new project and returns a shareable production URL.
What the workflow looks like:
- Design in Claude Design — build your site, prototype, or microsite through conversation
- Open the Share menu — select Vercel as your destination
- Connect the Vercel MCP server — one-time setup linking your Vercel account
- Deploy — Claude Design pushes the project; Vercel returns a live URL you can open immediately
No local environment. No repository. No build config. The entire path from canvas to production URL stays inside Claude’s interface.
This matters because the previous workflow had real friction. Before this integration, you had to export a .zip from Claude Design and either drag it into Vercel Drop or push it through Git. Both options meant leaving the design tool, handling files, and managing deployment separately. The MCP-based flow collapses that into a single action.
NOTE
Claude Design is currently in beta for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. The Vercel MCP server connection is a one-time setup per account.
The pattern here is worth watching beyond this specific integration. MCP is becoming the glue between AI tools and deployment platforms — Claude Code already has a Vercel deploy plugin for backend projects. Claude Design getting the same treatment on the frontend side closes the loop: design and ship without touching infrastructure.
Available now in Claude Design’s Share menu. Connect the Vercel MCP server to your account and deploy from the canvas.
