Ocean pulls agent sessions off individual laptops and into a shared, searchable team workspace.
When two people use Claude Code or Codex on the same codebase, the session that produced a change lives on one person’s machine. By the time the code reaches a PR, the reasoning behind it — what was tried, what was rejected, why this approach — is gone. Commits and docs capture the result. They don’t capture the thinking.
Ocean syncs sessions from multiple agent harnesses into one place where anyone on the team, including other agents, can search them. You can ask “what was Alex working on yesterday?” and recover the context behind a change days or weeks later.
Supported harnesses:
- Claude Code
- Codex
- OpenCode
- Hermes
- Pi
- Other agent harnesses
The builders hit this problem themselves working across Claude Code and Codex with a teammate. They’ve been running Ocean daily as a core part of their workflow.
NOTE
VSCode Insiders now ships its own Agent Sessions view — local, remote, and CLI Copilot sessions in one sidebar. But it’s scoped to a single editor’s sessions, not a shared team history across multiple harnesses.
Ocean is live at ocean.mosaic.inc with a demo video. The Show HN thread sat at 5 points and 1 comment at time of writing.
